Bandai Action Base 1

Last week I ordered one Bandai Action Base 1 and finally arrived last Saturday. I bought this action base to pose my HG Unicorn Gundam for my next review so I'm really sorry if It takes so long after my last post. This is my first action base so I really excited about it. At first I really confused about what is the difference between Action Base 1 and Action Base 2. Then I decided to bought both of them to see the difference. I ordered Action Base 1 online because coincidentally I found it with reasonable price and I bought Action Base 2 in the local hobby store near my home.

In this post I will show you the picture of Bandai Action Base 1 so you can have a picture in mind what will you get if you buy this one. Let's check it out

Bandai Action Base 1 All Runners
All Runners and Double-Sided Tape

As you can see, there are 3 runners with 1 octagon-shaped main base and 1 small yellow plastic that contain 2 screws and 1 nut. Oh and one more thing, the yellow paper is double-sided tape but for now I don't know how to use it. Like Gundam this action base is a plastic injection snap-fit assembly kit but requires very little work to assemble. You don't need cement but don't forget that you need a small plus screwdriver.

Here is the result :

Support Pole

Bandai gave us great detail in the octagon base, this base can be connected with other base so we can create great pose with several Gundam. The base has total of 10 holes as options for placing the support pole and main stand. We can adjust the support pole and main stand height as we like so we can pose our gundan in higher position.

Bandai Action Base 1 is designed to hold kits from 1/144 scale models, HGUC, HG Gundam Seed, 1/100 scale models, MG, and Real Robot Revolution series. But in my opinion this base is not suitable for SD Gundam and small HG Gundam because this base is big so the proportion looks bad for me. I will show you this base with gunpla attached later.

In the next post I will show you my Action Base 2. Actually I don't build it yet (Why I so busy this week >.< ). Thank you.
